FIC: Sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go (NC-17)

This is the last fic of this year's fest! Hold on, there's one last piece of art going up next! :)

Title: Sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go
Author: megyal
Prompt: # 6
Summary: The fae have faded, and they've passed on elemental abilities. Harry is Chosen, of course (isn't he always?), and he has to work his way through the minefield of having an Elemental mate.
Rating: NC-17
Pairing(s): Harry/OC, Blaise/Harry, Draco/Blaise, Draco/Harry
Warning(s): themes of dom/sub (expressed through alpha/omega dynamics), and heat, which might carry issues of dub-con, which I've tried to avoid, but might not have been successful at it.
Word Count: ~17000
Author's Notes: I really liked this prompt and wanted to do something nice for it. I don't think I hit the mark with the prompt, or even with what I had in my head. I tried, and I'm actually okay with the result of that entire struggle. corona_0304, I hope that you enjoy this attempt at the interesting prompt that you thought up, I really enjoyed giving it a shot for you. Thank you so very much to the mods of this fest for their kind patience. My deepest gratitude to my betas (M & N) for all their amazing help.

I got a lot of inspiration from other fics/sites, a few of them here: Alpha/Beta/Omega; Alphas, Betas, Omegas: A Primer; Never is a Promise (Avengers) by mantic_intent; Alpha Is As Alpha Does (Avengers) by kathierif_fic, and What happened to the term Alpha Wolf by L. David Mech.
